Braid a kumihimo rope and form it into loops that are inserted into a bead cap as the top of the earring. Making an 8-strand braid, called Kongo-Gumi, with varied colored cord really shows off your work. This is a great class for those wanting to learn kumihimo as well as for those who already know how to do this traditional Japanese braiding technique. No experience needed. Instructor: Emma Folsom.

Take your wire weaving skills to the next step with this new class. Use square wire to capture a bead with prongs versus a bezel or wire wrapping. A simple bail will be constructed to create a smooth line when finishing this delicate pendant. This will increase your wire working skills and you will walk away with a lovely pendant.
