Inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame in 2023. The band won the band division of the Iowa Blues Challenge, sending them on to of the International Blues Challenge 2024.

Whew! What better way to bid good-bye to an amazing summer of music in Main Street but with some rollicking, infectious, can't-stop-dancing Cajun/Creole/Tex-Mex tunes.
The Swampland Jewels weave blues, roots with a touch of Czech flair -- spanning Iowa to the Gulf Coast and a stop in Austin, Texas.
Their eponymous debut album is available from Bandcamp, and was supported in part by the Iowa Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
