Community Messiah Singalong
This year’s Messiah is built as a true community sing—an open invitation for singers across Iowa to come together and take part in one of the most beloved choral works ever written. If you already own a score, bring it along; if not, rental copies will be available when you arrive. Before the music begins, we'll gather for cocktails, coffee, and conversation—an easy, welcoming space to reconnect, meet new friends, and settle in together. We're kicking off a few new traditions this year including a raffle for who will conduct the Hallelujah Chorus. More surprises to come. The orchestra will conducted in rotation by Iowa City greats, including Ann Howard Jones, David Haas, David Puderbaugh, and others.
