The library's MakerSpace offers a wide range of creative opportunities, including 3D printers, Cricut machines, a sublimation printer, heat presses, and more. Open hours are a great way to learn more about offerings and see different pieces of technology in action.  To learn more about MakerSpace guidelines, equipment, and supplies, click here. • The Swamp Fox Returns

  Join us as we speak with the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion while he visits the library in partnership with Marion Heritage Center. Attendees will learn about his life and adventures during the American Revolution through an interview style presentation. About Marion Heritage Center The Marion Heritage Center is a vibrant community hub dedicated to uncovering, interpreting, and preserving the local history and culture of Marion, Iowa.   This program is part of The Big Marion Read, a community-wide reading program that connects people of all ages with themed books, activities, and events. • Iowa Children's Museum Visit

  This program is designed for children and accompanying adults/caregivers. Children learn by watching others, so please plan to attend and engage with your child during the program, as well as silence any mobile devices. To ensure everyone's safety, library staff will manage room capacity and monitor attendance. The Iowa Children's Museum is coming to the library, bringing fun, educational activities for children to learn through the power of play.
