An Evening with Amy Grant: Songs Stories & Memories
<p>Conventional wisdom has it that Amy Grant put Contemporary Christian Music on the map, becoming the first CCM artist to have a platinum record, the first to hit No. 1 on the Pop charts, and the first to perform at the GRAMMY Awards. Since then, Grant has been strumming her way through a thirty-plus year adventure as a singer-songwriter, author, television host, and speaker.</p> <p>Early on, Grant’s iconic voice became instantly recognizable in both the Christian and pop worlds. Over the years, she has sold more than 30 million albums world-wide, including three multi-platinum, six platinum, and four gold. Her chart performance has also been consistent throughout her career, boasting six No. 1 hits, 10 "Top 40" Pop singles, 17 “Top 40” Adult Contemporary tracks and multiple Contemporary Christian chart-toppers. In recognition of such success, Grant has received 6 GRAMMY Awards and 26 Dove Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a star on the Music City Walk of Fame. Additionally, she was most recently inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.</p> <p>Stepping out from behind her guitar, Grant found herself hosting the NBC prime time series “Three Wishes” in 2005, bringing her into millions of living rooms across America every Friday night. The people she met and stories she collected proved to be great inspiration for creating new music and even writing a book. Two years later, Grant’s first book, <i><u>Mosaic: Pieces of My Life So Far</u></i>, was published. She continues to share her stories with audiences all over the country as a keynote and inspirational speaker.</p> <p>In April 2016, Grant celebrated the 25th anniversary of her first pop hit, “Baby Baby”, with a worldwide release of a new version of the song featuring pop sensation and fellow Capitol Music Group recording artist Tori Kelly. Growing her wildly popular Christmas brand, Grant then released “Tennessee Christmas” in October 2016, her first all-new Christmas album in nearly twenty years. She looks forward to national arena symphony Christmas tours each November and December with long-time friend Michael W. Smith, as well as an annual Christmas residency at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville with country superstar husband Vince Gill.</p> <p>Grant resides with her family in Nashville, Tennessee, and is widely known for her philanthropy and tireless involvement in local causes and charitable organizations. Rob Schneider - Rescue Husband
<p>Rob Schneider is an accomplished actor, comedian, screenwriter and director. A stand-up comic and veteran of the award-winning NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, Schneider has gone on to a successful career in films, television and continues his word-wide standup tour.</p> <p>Schneider’s first Netflix comedy special, “Asian Momma, Mexican Kids,” premiered globally on August 11, 2020. Filmed in February, the special gives viewers a look at Schneider’s family and personal life through hilarious anecdotes. The special ends with a surprise duet performance with Schneider’s daughter Elle King.</p> <p>Born in San Francisco, Schneider’s family is of Filipino and Caucasian descent. His father was Jewish and his mother Catholic. His mixed background has been a common theme in his comedy acts. Schneider started his stand-up career in high school opening for the popular San Francisco band “Head On,” and was a regular guest on local radio. An opening slot for Dennis Miller garnered him an appearance on the HBO’s “13<sup>th </sup>Annual Young Comedians” special also hosted by Miller. The special led him to a coveted position as a writer for SNL in 1988. Schneider swiftly moved from a writer and featured player to a full cast member with a cast that included Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade and the late Chris Farley.</p> <p>After leaving SNL in 1994 Schneider went to roles in film and television including a starring role in the NBC sitcom “Men Behaving Badly,” and starring roles in the feature films DEUCE BIGALOW: MALE GIGOLO, THE ANIMAL, THE HOT CHICK, DEUCE BIGALOW: EUROPEAN GIGALOW and THE BENCHWARMERS. DEUCE BIGALOW: MALE GIGOLO has the distinction of being the second highest grossing DVD in the US in 2000.</p> <p>Schneider’s early film roles also include JUDGE DREDD, DEMOLITION MAN, BEVERLY HILLS HILLBILLIES and DOWN PERISCOPE. He also co-starred in numerous comedies that were some of the biggest films in the past twenty years, including GROWNUPS, THE WATERBOY, LITTLE NICKY, THE LONGEST YARD, 50 FIRST DATES, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN, and narrated the animated film 8 CRAZY NIGHTS. He also recently appeared in Netflix’s THE WRONG MISSY and the recently released HUBIE HALLOWEEN.</p> <p>On television Schneider starred in the CBS comedy “Rob,” loosely based on his real life. In 2015 he produced, directed and starred in “Real Rob,” that followed his life and co-starred his real-life wife Patricia and daughter Miranda for Netflix. “Real Rob” was a milestone for the comedian as he starred, directed, produced and financed the entire season.</p> <p>Schneider’s directorial debut was the comedy BIG STAN, in which he also starred in the title role. In 2010 he released his first comedy album, “Registered Offender,” a collection of audio sketches and songs. That year Schneider also revived his stand-up career with an international tour and has continued to tour nationally and internationally ever since.</p> <p>Schneider is currently co-starring in Netflix’s “Home Team,” starring Kevin James and is embarking on his stand-up comedy tour throughout the summer. In addition, Schneider recently completed production on the film “Daddy Daughter Trip,” which he produced, directed and starred in.</p> <p>The three-time Emmy nominated writer for SNL is having the best time of his life, enjoying raising his 7- and 3-year-old girls, Miranda and Madeline, with his wife Patricia. Steve Trevino - Good Life Tour
<p>Comedian Steve Treviño is “America’s Favorite Husband.” He can “speak wife fluently,” he never calls “the guys” for help on a home project, and he knows better than to “make his own decisions,” since decision-making is a privilege reserved solely for his wife, Renae. His relatable approach affirms his status as one of the country’s fastest-rising comics, viewed over 223 million times, selling out shows coast-to-coast, amassing over 2 million total social media followers, and headlining specials for Amazon, NETFLIX, Showtime, and more.<br /> <br /> He started cutting his teeth in Dallas, Texas, working as a door guy at the Improv and earning himself a spot to open the iconic 2001 Three Amigos Comedy Tour. He quickly earned his stripes and an audience on the comedy club circuit, and he began headlining on his own by the age of 25. He delivered side-splitting performances on The Late Late Show and Comics Unleashed, and produced and wrote for international GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar Pitbull’s La Esquina.<br /> <br /> His first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe’s Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20.
