Severin Films is known for releasing cult classics, and two of their standout films, Cemetery Man and Vampyros Lesbos, are no exception.

Cemetery Man (1994), also known as Dellamorte Dellamore, is an Italian horror film that is a surreal blend of horror, dark comedy, and romance.

Directed by Michele Soavi, the story follows Francesco Dellamorte, the gravedigger of a cemetery where the dead don't stay dead for long. When the corpses rise from their graves, it's his job to put them back down, often in strange and bizarre ways.

The film is a meditation on death, life, and love, with a darkly poetic edge. It’s known for its quirky style, strange visuals, and an underlying, philosophical exploration of existence. Cemetery Man has since gained a cult following for its offbeat storytelling and off-kilter humor.

Vampyros Lesbos (1971) is a Spanish-German erotic horror film directed by Jesús Franco and is considered one of the standout films of the Eurocult genre.

The story centers on a young woman named Linda who is a psychiatrist visiting a remote island. She becomes entangled with the mysterious and seductive Countess Nadine, who is a vampire.

The film is known for its sensual atmosphere, psychedelic visuals, and a dreamlike tone. The combination of horror and eroticism, along with a hauntingly jazzy score, gives Vampyros Lesbos its distinctive, hypnotic style. The film became an influential cult classic and is revered for its aesthetic and boundary-pushing content.

Both films offer unique, eccentric experiences, blending genres and themes in ways that have earned them a lasting place in cult film history.

Please note that while this event is free and open to the public, both films are rated R.
