<p>On their own and Okay helps adolescents build skills, maturity, and the confidence to safely stay home alone. This workshop does not certify your child is ready to be home alone. Your child will have fun during this hands-on workshop & leave our workday with a family workbook to guide you through discussing expectations together.<br />
Topics include:<br />
•Rules and schedules<br />
•Basic, healthy foods on their own<br />
•Procedure if someone comes to the door when you’re gone.<br />
•Management techniques for the ever-present squabbles that occur between siblings.<br />
•Handling emergencies such as weather, safety, and basic first aid.</p>
