Back-2-School Bash

The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department will be handing out school supplies for kids entering kindergarten through 5^th grade at the Annual Back-2-School Bash on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Old MacDonald’s Farm in Bever Park. The event will have lots of fun activities as well. Admission is $5 per child, ages 3-17. Advance registration for program #103602-01 at CRREC.org is required; a limited number of spots are available.

Participants will receive core school supplies (notebooks, markers, crayons, glue sticks, pencils, scissors, etc.), and the fun includes activities and games with the Rollin’ Recmobile and Cedar Rapids Police and Fire, inflatables, face painting, balloons, and Old MacDonald’s Farm animals. Z102.9 will be there, and Kona Ice will have cool treats available for purchase.
