Climate Disasters in the South Pacific: What's Been Happening & What to Do about It

Frances Namoumou will share her 20+ years' work in climate disaster management for the South Pacific island nations, how the church is responding, and the help they need from us.   She is head of the Pacific Council of Churches' Ecologic Stewardship & Climate Justice Program and has worked with the World Council of Churches on the Climate Change Act and Disaster Risk Reduction.  Q & A to follow.  This event is co-sponsored by the Presbyterian Church(USA) Peacemaking Program and the Presbytery of East Iowa.
