Event Description

Explore the wonderful world of fungi at Palisades-Kepler State Park!

Join the Friends and members of the Prairie States Mushroom Club, on a Mushroom Foray. Leaders will direct participants through the park in search of interesting and edible fall mushrooms, such as chicken of the woods and puffballs.

The group will meet at the Cedar Cliff Trail Head at 10am. Wear your walking shoes and bring some water. This is a family friendly event. Canceled in case of heavy rain.
