Cyclists of all levels are invited to join the Spokes of Hope bike ride on Sat., May 31, in support of the Mercy’s Hall-Perrine Cancer Center Hope Fund. The ride will begin at the Sag Wagon Deli & Brew, located at 827 Shaver Rd. NE in Cedar Rapids. Participants should arrive by 10:45 a.m., with the ride beginning promptly at 11 a.m. Riders can choose from three distance options to match their comfort level. Enjoy stops at local establishments along the way. Registration includes a commemorative T-shirt, and proceeds will benefit the Hope Fund, which provides financial assistance for cancer patients in need. The Hope Fund helps patients by covering critical needs such as nutritional supplements, care-related supplies, healthy meals, and transportation to and from treatment. This essential support reduces the financial burden and emotional stress for patients and their families during an already challenging time.
