Linn County Blues society, presenting Bluesmore at the Brucemore, Saturday, August 2nd, on the front lawn of the Brucemore Mansion, 2160, Linden Drive SE, in Cedar Rapids. The evening’s blues entertainment features a powerhouse lineup, including the Buckmiller Schwager Band, the Avey Grouws Band, and the Ghost Town Blues Band. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome for an evening filled with live music, delicious food, and cold drinks on the Brucemore’s First Avenue front lawn. Gates open at 3pm, and music begins at 4 for this year’s edition of Bluesmore at the Brucemore—presented by the Linn County Blues Society.
