Event Description

Join us as we commemorate Cedar Rapids' continued recovery from the 2020 Derecho. The event will also include a tree planting and dedication.

Speakers include:

• Mayor Pro Tem Ann Poe


• City Manager Jeff Pomeranz


• ReLeaf Program Manager Carole Teator


• Fire Department Chief Greg Smith

The Neighborhood P.A.C.T. (Prepare, Act, Communicate,  Train) will also be on-hand providing information about how to take steps to prepare for emergencies.
