Event Description
"Learn Simple basket weaving techniques as you create a cylindrical feeder with a hoop handle. Hang your feeder outside and fill with suet balls for the woodpeckers and other suet-loving birds. After weaving we will learn to make our own suet cakes so you can keep it filled all winter long. Take home what you make. The cone also makes a pretty container for dried flowers or holiday greenery. Participants should have good hand, finger, wrist, and arm strength. Adults only, please. Materials: Please bring small, very sharp hand pruners, lunch, snacks, and beverage. Fee: $45 Members $50 Nonmembers. Pre-registration is required and closes November 16th.Registration
