Event Description

A zine (short for “magazine”) is a handmade, mini, self-published booklet that can be filled with anything—art, writing, photography, or collage. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the history and culture of zine-making, experiment with layout and design, and create your own original publication. Whether you’re drawn to collage, illustration, writing, or mixed media, this workshop offers the tools and inspiration to bring your ideas to life. Bring along magazines, photos, or clippings if you have a specific theme in mind—or simply come ready to experiment! No prior art or writing experience required—just bring your curiosity and something to say.
