Event Description

The City of Cedar Rapids invites residents and visitors-kick off the holiday season at the 29th annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 5, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in Greene Square.

The ceremonial lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m. The Tree Lighting is a free, family-friendly celebration featuring live entertainment, and community activities leading up-the countdown. Attendees are encouraged-explore nearby restaurants, shops, and the Five Seasons Lights at the McGrath Amphitheatre following the event.
