Event Description

Weave a little Halloween magic with glass! In this fun, beginner-friendly warm glass workshop, you'll create a striking Spider Web Bowl by arranging black fusible glass into an intricate web design. Learn how to cut, shape, and layer glass to build an openwork spiderweb that is both sculptural and functional. Once your design is complete, your piece will be kiln-fired and slumped into a decorative bowl, transforming your web into a one-of-a-kind serving piece perfect for the spooky season. Use it to hold wrapped candy, Halloween treats, keys, jewelry, or festive décor—or display it on its own as a dramatic seasonal centerpiece. Along the way, you'll learn the fundamentals of warm glass, including glass cutting, shaping, layout, and kiln-forming techniques. No experience is necessary—all materials, instruction, kiln firing, and bowl forming are included. Your finished fused glass bowl will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the workshop.
