Event Description

Jessica Mar brings "Walla Walla" home to Cedar Rapids for a release show built around new beginnings, open road possibility, and the people who helped shape the journey. After eight years in Los Angeles, the soulful, genre-blending pop artist returns to the Midwest and steps into The Ideal Theater & Bar with a five-piece full band featuring JWC, led by her father, Jeff Weimer. This is more than a first listen. It's a father and daughter sharing one stage, a new song finding its way into the room, and a hometown crowd getting to be part of the beginning. Expect heartfelt storytelling, originals, a few covers, and the first full-band performance of "Walla Walla." Thursday, November 5, 2026. The Ideal Theater & Bar. All Ages. $21.75 all-in. Doors 6:00 PM, show 6:30 PM.
