Event Description

Friendship and Welcoming Culture: TED Talk Viewing and Discussion.  Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking afternoon as we come together to view and discuss three impactful TED talks on the themes of friendship. At the Bridge, we believe that while our programs are designed to spark interest, the real treasure lies in the connections we form with one another. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being understood and genuinely appreciated.
Featured TED Talks:
1.  Mike Duffey: The Critical Importance of Friends on Your Happiness
Explore how friendships are essential to our happiness and overall well-being and learn why cultivating these relationships is more important than ever.
2.  Shasta Nelson: The 3 Requirements of All Healthy Friendships
Discover the three key ingredients that make friendships thrive, as Shasta Nelson delves into what it takes to build and maintain healthy, fulfilling relationships.
3.  Maria Scileppi: A Friend a Day Project and Lessons Learned
Be inspired by Maria Scileppi’s journey of meeting a new friend every day and the invaluable lessons she learned about connection, empathy, and the human spirit.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing this enriching experience together. Let's celebrate the joy of understanding and appreciating one another through the lens of friendship.
