Event Description

55+Leadership in Turbulent Times: Join us for this Online Road Scholar event with Doris Kearns Goodwin.  Known for her deeply insightful biographies, Goodwin has brought to life the leadership styles and personal journeys of America’s most influential presidents, including Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Ms. Goodwin’s acclaimed works, such as “Team of Rivals” and “Leadership in Turbulent Times,” offer powerful lessons in resilience, empathy and unity.

Bridge to Opportunities meets at 2100 1st Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, directly across from Cottage Grove Place and Cottage Grove Ave.  (This is Refugee City Church, the former Four Oaks building.)  Parking and entrance, including a handicap ramp are at the back of the building.
