Event Description

Braid a kumihimo rope and form it into loops that are inserted into a bead cap as the top of the earring. Making an 8-strand braid, called Kongo-Gumi, with varied colored cord really shows off your work. This is a great class for those wanting to learn kumihimo as well as for those who already know how to do this traditional Japanese braiding technique. No experience needed. Instructor: Emma Folsom. Tools needed are a kumihimo disk and 8 weighted bobbins. $72 if you bring tools/$92 if you need tools.
