Event Description

Learn how to manipulate solid borosilicate glass. Participants will make a variety of shapes that create glass skills of pushing, pulling, adding color, and making a bail. Shapes worked on in class include a pawn, basic marble, icicle pendant, and a mushroom pendant. Instructor: Tyson Whitehill. This class serves as the prerequisite for other Boro classes. Registration is $128 and includes all materials, instruction, use of studio and tools, and annealing. Register in person, via phone at 319 338-1566, or on-line.
