Event Description

Join new guest instructor Harper Folsom. Learn a Ukrainian egg dyeing technique, called Pysanka. This technique uses multiple colors of dye, done in layers with wax resist, to create detailed designs. Up to three eggs per person will be made. Instructor: Harper Folsom. The eggs need to be varnished and emptied after the dyeing process is complete. This will be done by the instructor. Participants can pick up their work starting on Sat. Oct. 25. Registration is $98 and includes all materials, instruction, use of studio and tools. Register in person, via phone at 319 338-1566, or on-line.
