Transportation can become a challenge as we age; Cedar Rapids City Bus Service can be an option, whether to meet a one-time need or for routine transportation option. Join Gary Setter and Pat at the Bridge Senior Center as we take a group bus ride to the Ground Transportation Center. There, Marci Williams, Transportation Programs Coordinator, will provide a hands-on overview of how to read a bus schedule, ride the city bus, and use the Express 380 service to Iowa City. She’ll also share tips on planning your bus trips and finding trip planning assistance when needed.
Participants age 65 plus will have the opportunity to obtain their Free Fare Bus Pass I.D. during the visit.
Bridge Senior Center meets at First Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, 310 5th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, directly across from Green Square Park. Parking and entrance, including a handicap ramp are at the back of the building. Questions: Call 319-640-5357.
